As a freelance MUA, a beauty enthusiast, and someone who is just nosey as hell, I had to find out for the sake of me, what in the entire hell "strobing" is. So I hopped on YouTube and was pretty interested in what I found.
Strobing is a makeup technique, originated by French women, in which you highlight the highest points of your face, EXTREMELY, to avoid having to contour. French women created this technique because they believe contouring changes your face and you don't need to change your face in order to be beautiful. 
I personally am a fan of strobing in the summer for that extra glow, but I'm not too sure how I would feel about looking like a damn disco ball in the winter. I prefer a clean matte face with a tiny glow for the colder seasons.
But there is one YouTube sensation who is totally not a fan of the new beauty craze. I asked Stahr Milan how he felt about strobing and here's what he had to say:
