So I was minding my own business (aka scrolling through social media) when I scrolled a little too damn fast. I know exactly what I had scrolled past, but I just needed to take a moment to gather myself before I went back to look at the epicity (I'm not even sure that's a word but fuck it). So I took a deep breath and said to myself, "I know she didn't".

When I scrolled back, there it was, right in front of my face. Beyoncé Giselle Knowles on the cover of Vogue Magazine looking effortless and celestial like she always does. She is the first black musician to appear on the cover for a September issue and the third black female to take the cover by herself. You go girl. Tell them again, bow down.
Let's get into the real for a minute. Momma shut this shoot down like nobody's business. Wearing the finest of garments, being shot by Mario Testino himself, and styled by Tonne Good, she bodied everything in this shoot that represents her.
Now in the spread, her hair is wet which I personally love in the strength that it adds a raw feel in a setting where everything is pretty much perfect and prim. It catches her in a state in which we are rarely exposed- normality. It looks as if she's in her royal palace, just hopped out the shower, opened the door for her royal stylist, and he has brought with him all kinds of Givenchy, Gucci and Gabana for her to try on and prance around in for tonight's event. NAILED IT.
Besides being moved by the shoot alone, I was also moved by what people had to say about the powerful force that is her. Here's what some of fashion's master minds had to say about the Queen Bey:
"The word diva is used for so many female performers, and it often means they have reputations for being difficult, but she exudes charm and a lovable quality.” —Marc Jacobs
"She’s the whole package: primal, rare, delicate, beautiful, and powerful.” —Stella McCartney
"There is a magnetic presence to her.” —Riccardo Tisci
