Please forgive me for the delay of this post. I had to do A LOT of research to find out everything to relay it back to my you, my mobsters.
The rumors are true. Gwen Stefani and Urban Decay Cosmetics have worked together to bring you 15 of her can't-live-without shades. Each shade represents a different part of of Gwen's life.
Here are the deets:
•Blonde, a pale beige with pink iridescent shift
•Bathwater, a pale beige with gold pearl
•Steady, a medium rose with metallic gold shift
•Punk, a reddish-brown matte
•Baby, a cool metallic rose
•Anaheim, a light taupe-brown (one of the only matte shades in the palette)
•Zone, another matte in a medium brown
•Serious, a smoky gray with iridescent floating pearl
•Pop, a pale coral with iridescent sparkle
•Harajuku, a metallic blue-pink with iridescent microshimmer
•Danger, a deep metallic royal blue with blue microsparkle
•1987, a bright metallic yellow-gold
The other three shades — Skimp, Stark, and Blackout — are favorites of Gwen's from the original Urban Decay collection.
This palette HAS to be in my collection because Gwen is one of my favorite artists of all time, one of my favorite style icons, and my favorite blonde. I love her because she let us girls know it's alright to be wild, to be versatile, and be true to yourself. The palette is also very wearable, which is always a plus. There are a few crazy colors in there, but they can always be used for a small pop of color.
As you can see, the packaging is gold and black, which have always been Gwen's signature color scheme. She's used both of the colors many times in videos, album covers, and even in her hair!
I cannot wait to get my hands on this heaven sent product. It will be available for purchase November 22 on urbandecay.com and also at Urban Decay's flagship store in Newport Beach, CA. Good luck in purchasing yours, this is going to be a good one!
Xoxo.
