There are many celebrities that I love. I mean, MANY. But if I had to have a top ten, Dita Von Teese would definitely be in the top five. If your don't know who Von Teese is, expand your horizons. She is an American burlesque dancer, costume designer, author, model and entrepreneur. She is often associated with repopularizing burlesque dance.
One of my favorite fashion muses of 2014-15, to Zac Posen, Ditadefinitely captured my heart in everything she's worn down to her soft pin up tresses and her signature red lip. She has always been known for her porcelain skin and a bloody crimson kiss.
On the cover of her newest publication, Dita is holding a red lipstick which insinuates that she wrote the title (which is also red) with the lipstick. So, when M•A•C approached her for a collaboration in celebration of her new book, Your Beauty Mark: The Ultimate Guide to Eccentric Glamour, it only made sense to drop a red lip like never before.
The collaboration is a limited edition one product deal. The packaging is black and sleek labeled with Dita's signature in red on both the box and the actual lipstick tube.
