1. |Perfume as nail polish remover|
How many times have you looked down at you fingernails or toenails and realized that you just can't with the condition of the polish anymore? How many of those times have you went to reach the polish remover and there is none? Have no fear! Take some perfume and spritz it onto a cotton pad and simply... Remove your polish. Voila!
2. |Tape Trick for a Perfect Wing|
Okay, so this is nothing new but it's still one of my favorite tricks to use on myself and clients. When I first started getting into makeup/beauty 5 years ago, I was terrified of attempting a wing with my liner. It was like death scary. But as time went on and I did more research, I came across this trick: take a piece of tape and line it with the corner of you eye going outward. Take your favorite liner (liquid or gel is awesome for wings). Drag your liner along the tape until the length you want is complete. Take your liner, place it near the end of your line (but not AT the end) drag your liner across your lid and fill in your gaps and YA DONE!
3. |Make That Perfume Last Girl!|
Gah! I can't tell you how many times I've bought perfume that smells SO good and no one else can get a wift because it wears off. How annoying! I've tried spritzing it in places such as inside my elbows and knees, behind my ears, even my hair! No luck. So one day I greased my body with Vaseline and then put Vaseline on not even thinking about the fact that Vaseline is sticky somewhat. Anyway, my perfume lasted ALL DAY. If you don't like Vaseline, just place a bit on your neck instead of your whole body and spray.
4. |Make Your Lipsticks Matte|
This is for all of you who buy glossy lipstick, don't like the finish and throw it away... Stop. Apply the lipstick, place a thin piece of tissue over your lips, take some translucent powder on a brush and pat it on your lips through the tissue. Remove the tissue and there... It's matte now.
5.|No Edges? No Problem!
THANK YOU AMREZY FOR THIS TIP!! If you have thinning or already thin edges, not a problem thanks to AMREZY. Anytime you see her with her slick back pony, she takes a black eyeshadow and a makeup brush and simply fills them in. Before I became pregnant, I used this trick with a dark brown shadow and it was addictive! Use a shadow that matches the color of your hair and no more thin edges.
6.|Mascara as Eyeliner and Vise Versa|
This one is very simple. If you run out of mascara, dip the brush in your eyeliner bottle and go about your business. Same thing with eyeliner. Hell, seems like they made out of the same thing anyway.
7.|A Cheaper Makeup Remover|
Makeup remover can be really expensive... Especially the wipes and they don't tend to last long. Just use coconut oil to remove you makeup. It works like no other, it lasts longer, and it's cheaper.
8.|A Smoother Shave|
For a smoother shave and luminous after shine, use coconut oil instead of shaving cream.
9.|Cover Your Lace|
Ever see someone and their unit looks extremely on point except one thing... Their part still looks like lace? Don't let that be you. Don't be the girl with the lace part. Take some concealer the color of YOUR SCALP and apply it to the lace part.
10.|Your Powder Is Never Ruined|
Unfortunately this only works with powder. To fix melted lipstick, just place in refrigerator. Gather all of the broken pieces of makeup into its original container and crush up all the makeup (even the parts that may not have broken). 2. Add a few drops of rubbing alcohol to the compact and let it soak in. Use your finger, the back of a spoon or anything, really, to rub and smooth down the makeup.
